Foundations of Our Faith: The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He arose from the dead.  He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church Universal, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.  Amen.

Je crois en Dieu le père tout-puissant, créateur du ciel et de la terre et en Jésus-Christ, son fils unique, notre Seigneur qui a été conçu par l'Esprit Saint, né de la Vierge Marie, a souffert sous Ponce Pilate, a été crucifié, mort et enterré; le troisième jour, il se leva des morts. Il monta dans le ciel et s'assied sur la droite de Dieu le père tout-puissant; d'où il viendra pour juger les vivants et les morts. Je crois en l'Esprit Saint, l'Eglise universelle, la communion des Saints, le pardon des péchés, la résurrection du corps, et la vie éternelle. Amen.

Creo en Dios el padre todopoderoso, creador del cielo y de la tierra y en Jesucristo, su único hijo, nuestro Señor, que fue concebido por el Espíritu Santo, nacido de la Virgen María, sufrió bajo Ponso Pilato, fue crucificado, muerto y enterrado; el tercer día se levantó de entre los muertos. Subió al cielo y se sienta a la diestra de Dios Padre Todopoderoso; de ahí vendrá a juzgar a los vivos y a los muertos. Creo en el Espíritu Santo, en la Iglesia universal, en la comunión de los Santos, en el perdón de los pecados, en la resurrección del cuerpo y en la vida eterna. Amén.
